Hello!
My name is Lucius. I am a 4th-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Saskatchewan. I joined SeisWare as a Co-op Software Developer in May 2022. I started out by fixing simple bugs, then the difficulty increased over time. Currently, I have moved on to implementing new features for our software – Yes, I get to write my own codes now and they will be used by real clients in the real world, super exciting!
In such a short amount of time, I have already learned many valuable lessons in both technical and interpersonal areas. I truly appreciate that even though I need a lot of help, nobody seems to mind. This prevents me from being afraid to ask questions, thus increasing my ability to learn from others. Therefore, although I have not been here for long, I am certain that my 16-month work term will fly by quickly because I enjoy it so much.
After work, I usually go to the gym to move around after a long day sitting on a chair. In my free time, I like to watch movies or anime, listen to music, and play League of Legends with my friends. I also enjoy playing chess and card games.
Programming has been my greatest passion since grade six and SeisWare has given me a marvelous opportunity to bring it to a whole new level. I cannot thank you all enough and will try my best fulfilling my duties to return the favour.
