The Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta is a charitable organization that helps Alberta families fighting childhood cancer.
In late October/early November SeisWare took part in fundraising for the Big Brave Community Event, and event to raise money and awareness for the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.
Companies and individuals across Alberta were encouraged to take part not just by raising funds but also by transforming their hair. Cut, colour and styles all counted, so long as they contributed to the fundraising efforts.
Since SeisWarians love a good challenge, some brave staff members stepped up. While we initially set out to raise $500, the team ended up raising just over $1,400 and five of our staff members got brand new looks.
These incredible hairstyles have most definitely brightened our spirits on video calls the past two months.
As a company, SeisWare appreciates every opportunity to give back. We support organizations that promote importance of family, and specifically the well-being of children, as they’re the building blocks for strong communities. By donating our time and our dollars, we’re committed to fueling the quality of life within the communities where we work. We think that while it is nice to run a profitable business, it is our responsibility to give back to the communities that support us.
Families with kids fighting cancer definitely deserve every helping hand. We were extremely happy, and proud, to be able to take part in the Big Brave Community event.
